Hi Ellen!  Hope all is well with you and your puppies.  Romeo is doing well.  He is such a part of the family, I can hardly remember a time when he was not with us!  He is 10 months old now and just an absolute joy.  Crate training was definitely the way to go - he loves his crate when we go to work or at night to sleep.  He can be sound asleep on the couch with us while we watch TV and I can say in just a normal tone of voice "Do you want to go to bed?" and he takes off like a shot for his crate.  Also, he is very mild mannered.  He loves to rough house with Bill during their play time, but he not an aggressive dog.  I can put my hand in his food while he is eating, take away a treat, etc.  He has never snarled or barked in anger.  He does like to bark at people walking past his house, though!
I would love to send you a picture of him.  I never did get your mailing address.  You would be so proud of him.  We definitely did the right thing by looking at ALL of your puppies and picking him.  We are so glad that you take such good care of your animals - it shows how much you care about them!
